Not as funny as some of Owen Wilson's other movies but worth watching. Troy Gentile, the chubby kid, was hilarious.

You're always guaranteed of a good performance by Jack Nicholson. Good message behind the movie although the first half of the movie was pretty slow.

I had read some bad reviews of this movie but was pleasantly surprised. Somewhat predictable storyline but engaging visuals.

Tonight I had to do what no Youth Pastor enjoys doing - visiting a student in the hospital. Joseph Logan went with our youth group last year to Battle Cry in Detroit where this picture was taken. He was a short, shy kid with black curly hair. He came to 29:11 when his Grandma brought him so we saw him every few weeks or so. After we moved out of our location at Seekers Coffee House he stopped coming so I haven’t seen him a while.

CD Review: CeU

This is one of the new favorite albums on my iPod right now. Even if you’re not a fan of world music you’ll enjoy these smooth, catchy brazillian beats by this talented newcomer. Standouts on the album are hauntingly infectous “Ave Cruz” and the jazz-styled cover of Bob Marley’s “Concrete Jungle.”
You’ll definitely be hearing more about CeU in the future. You can download the album on iTunes or pick it up at your nearest Starbucks.
