Microsoft Surface

Ok, let me start off by saying that I’m not a huge fan of Microsoft. Their products and operating systems are overly complicated and overpriced. But regardless of how I feel about their products I know that they have some remarkably creative, out-of-the-box people working for them.

In 2001 Steve Bathiche & Andy Wilson (part of Microsoft Hardware & Research) began brainstorming concepts for an interactive table that married technology with everyday life. The result was Microsoft Surface.

I’m not saying this is the future of computing or even that it’s practical…but it sure is COOL! It’s like a real life version of those cool computers from Minority Report.

I share the same perception. I am also not a big fan of Microsoft but still there are a few products which I like. The company is good though and I know there’s a lot more to expect from it.

I’m constantly challenging the process - examining what I do, why I do it and its relevance in today’s progressive culture. read more
