I'm a fan of these kind of real-life-problems in the real world kind of movies. Good acting, a couple funny parts.

Interesting movie that brought up some good topics for discussion with my kids. It almost felt like the producers rode the fence between 'romantic comedy' and 'fairytale' genre. Consequently it slightly lacked as both.

If I were rating it for me? 2. If I were rating it for Chloe? 4.5. So we'll just go with 3 and call it good. Your kid will enjoy it and that's what counts, right?

AIDS Experience

I’m going to be participating in the World Vision AIDS experience on Friday, September 10th at Fellowship Missionary Church. It looks to be an eye-opening way to learn more about this disease that is affecting millions around the world - including many innocent women and children.

That looks so sad… It’s easy to disregard a disease when it oly affects “bad” people. It’s another thing if affects innocents.
Are you volunteering there, or just going through the exhibit?
Yeah, it’s easy to hide behind the image we would like to put on AIDS and forget that it affects innocent people too. I’ll just be going through the exhibit as a participant, not helping out.
