My last week
Post Category: Blog Posts, Church, Church Planting
This is my last week at the office. It’s kinda weird because it really hasn’t sunk in yet. I keep thinking, Oh, I’ll just do that next week, but then I realize that there is no next week. It will probably hit me come Monday or Tuesday but for now it just doesn’t feel real.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing a message called, “Red Light, Green Light” about learning how to listen to God’s direction in our lives. This is obviously something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. I’m looking forward to sharing this message and I hope it hits home for whoever needs to hear it.
I know that’ I’ve been really bad about not posting a lot of updates here but I promise I’ll do better once things settle down. I really wanted to focus my efforts the last couple of weeks towards getting projects done for the Church.
Next week I’ll be stepping into the unknown. There are so many steps between here and this awesome Church I see Lisa and I planting. I just have to trust that God will guide us and give us direction as needed.
This quote by one of my new favorite authors, Guy Kawasaki, really means a lot right now:
Challenge the known.
Embrace the unknown.
