It’s hard to believe that 2008 is already here. I want to take the next few posts and share my vision and goals for 2008 – both for Lisa and I personally and for our ministry.

Confirming Target Church Launch City
As I’ve shared in previous posts we’ve made lots of headway in ruling out potential church launch cities. We’ve visited several cities that were on our list and have narrowed it down to a geographical area just north of Indianapolis. There is an established hub of two cities – Carmel & Fishers. Just north of those cities are a couple of high-grown communities that are smaller now but are slated for lots of new homes over the next 5 years. Just north of Fishers is Noblesville and just north of Carmel is a community called Westfield. We’ll be heading back in the coming weeks to look in more detail to determine where we will want to establish ourselves. I’ll also be heading down to do a prayer walk in a few weeks.

This area has a lot of potential for reaching unchurched families and individuals. It has a strong arts community which is exciting for me because of my graphic design background. Our immediate goal is just to spend as much time in the area as we can to get a better feel for the needs of the people who live there. Please pray for God to bring about divine connections and allow us to meet the right people.

  • About Brad

I love my family more than anything but I still struggle to keep my passions and priorities in order. I’m passionate about the Church, its influence on culture, and making it better. I’m constantly challenging the process - examining what I do, why I do it and its relevance in today’s progressive culture. read more
