Interesting movie that brought up some good topics for discussion with my kids. It almost felt like the producers rode the fence between 'romantic comedy' and 'fairytale' genre. Consequently it slightly lacked as both.

If I were rating it for me? 2. If I were rating it for Chloe? 4.5. So we'll just go with 3 and call it good. Your kid will enjoy it and that's what counts, right?

How to Tell If You’re A Hardcore Designer

For those of you who may not know, I’m a freelance web/graphic designer. You could say I’ve got the skills to pay the bills.
A couple of months ago I wrote a blog post called “How to Tell If You’re A Design Superfreak.” One of my favorite blogs recently ran another post covering the same topic. I picked out a few that I really related to.
If you’re a graphic designer (as I know a lot of my readers happen to be) I’m sure you will identify with these as well.
If not, read them to better understand that eccentric creative person you know.

I have to confess. I did a brand design for a local business two years ago. the look they ended up liking used papyrus…i drive by their sign every couple days and cringe.

CJ & Vince, We’ve all been there. There is an online support group for Graphic Designers who have been forced to use Papyrus and other ungodly fonts against their will. Admitting it is the first step on the road to recovery.
