    Definately “dude” and “totally.” Also can’t get away from “heck yeah.” Thanks for reminding me I suck and have no personality.

    mine has to be “hey”. a crowded room and i’m calling someone across the room by what i feel is their first name, “HeY!”

    never works, but i still do it?!?!

  13. Harold on June 11th, 2008 1:11 pm

    I use the word “anyway” way too much. I use it a lot in emails as I tend to take too manner side trips while trying to make my point. I then use the word –anyway– to get back on track. I catch myself doing that in conversation some but now like an email or a comment on a blog. ANYWAY

  14. Kelli Brownlee on June 11th, 2008 1:30 pm

  17. Brad Ruggles on June 11th, 2008 2:16 pm

    @Harold - Yeah, easy to do. I catch myself inserting it when I’m rambling.

    @KelliBrownlee - There’s a big difference between “dang” and “DAAAAANNNNNNGGGG” :-) I probably couldn’t pull the latter off

    @Geo - I was just hanging with @cdenning and he says that A LOT!

    @Lynse - Soooo…when you say “w.t.f” do you just say the letters or do you actually say What the ****?

    @evan - fo shizzle? Really??

    @ConiAndress - Keep saying it. Nothing makes you feel younger than calling someone dude.

    @CJMills - I guess I didn’t picture you as the “wicked” type

    @Nikki - Most of the people I know that use “like” a lot are 15 year old girls.

  26. Melissa on June 14th, 2008 8:43 pm

    Lately, I’ve been saying “AMAZING” a lot.

    I’ve been finding lots of things in my blog community that simply amazes me.

    But I think I need to change the word, lest my blogger friends would think it’s just an annoying expression of mine, that I don’t mean it when I say the word.

    ;-)

    ( :-) too. But now, I prefer the ;-) )

    Hmm words I use.
    I generally start every sentence with the word So.

    So… whats going on or So… about that excel report you sent me. or So.. Did you watch The Office last night.

    Yah.. pretty much that is my word, and sometimes Whatever, or i’ll throw in a Shut Up every once and awhile.
