God Will Take Care of You
POSTED IN: Blog Posts
I was listening to random music in my iTunes library and this song came up. I really needed to hear this today. It’s an old hymn made new by one of my favorite artists, Plumb. Hopefully this will encourage you as much as it did me. (flash player below for RSS readers)
God Will Take Care of You
Be not dismayed whate’er betide,
God will take care of you;
beneath his wings of love abide,God will take care of you.
God will take care of you,
through every day, o’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
God will take care of you;
when dangers fierce your path assail,
God will take care of you.All you may need he will provide,
God will take care of you;
nothing you ask will be denied,
God will take care of you.

Awesome song. I often pray God give me songs I need to hear before hitting “Shuffle Songs”. It doesn’t work right off the bat but I’m more attentive to what’s playing. This is a great song, sounds a little like Imogen Heap but that’s cool cause they are awesome. What a God send.

Wow. I must be disconnected somewhat from some styles of Christian music, I did not know Plumb was still around.

@April – I’m sure hoping so!
@Craig – Glad it spoke to you like it spoke to me. We get through hard stuff by encouraging each other.
@Nick – Oh yeah, she’s still around. She’s far enough on the fringe of Christian music for me to still enjoy.
