Pete the Rockstar Pastor

I’ve officially given up on trying to be as cool as Pete Wilson. There is no way I can top today’s post.

I’ve jokingly called him a “rockstar Pastor” – not to be derogatory but because he’s just such an awesome guy (and he does have a little bit of a tame rockstar look going on). Well, on Tuesday he gave the term “rockstar Pastor” a whole new meaning.

Pete, Derek Bruner and Brian Alexander had the opportunity to hang out backstage with C.C. DeVille, the lead guitarist for Poison, after their concert in Nashville. CC recently came to faith in Christ and had lots of questions.

Brad, don’t you think that it was more appropriate for Pete to take his blessed few minutes with CC and teach him the entire 10 Commandments and to urge him to memorize the entire Pentateuch, as well, to inform him that he is not pleasing God unless he is using the KJV1611, performing in a 3 piece suit, while giving up the devil’s music all together and for God’s sake (literally) to cut that rag on top of his head, how embarrassing to God…blah, blah, blah
