How Many Shoes Do You Own?

POSTED IN: Randomness

If I went through your closet, how many shoes would I find? I mean if I counted ALL your shoes – even that ugly pair you haven’t worn in 10 years that keeps following you from house to house. You know the ones I’m talking about.

Yes, I am being a little nosey. But there’s a reason for my nosiness (which I’ll tell you tomorrow).

No, that is not my closet.

So come on, how many?

Just me? Do I have to count my wife too? cuz, I don’t have enough time to count her shoes! Plus, not all the shoes are in the closet – some are in the garage where they get kicked as I come in the house. soooo…I have about 9 pair. Wow…9 pair for only 1 pair of feet.

If you ask my husband I have way too many. And he’s probably right! :-) . But since I was asked, many. You have to remember you have to coordinate shoes. Shoes for walking, shoes for church, shoes for work, shoes for riding the Harley, shoes to bum around in….you get the point. It’s a female thing or so I thought until I went into the closet and saw how many crocs, tennis shoes, and dress shoes he had. Personally, I prefer barefoot and forget it.

30-35 pairs…just a guesstimate. Btw, notice how the guys very carefully explain every pair of shoes while the ladies just answer the basic question? Just an observation (you overly wordy people, you!).

I refuse to answer this question on the basis that it will probably come back to bite me in the face when you do your next post. Therfore I will simply state that I do own shoes, but the style and number shall be left to ones imagination. :)

Mmm, just counted and about 45 pairs of shoes. I try to keep the count down by doing cleaning every once in a while. But the numbers just got higher since I found great deals on shoes. I can’t seem to pass up $3 shoes (I like REALLY good deals)!!!

Can’t wait to see why you’re asking tomorrow!

I have 11 pairs of shoes. Now, I’ve owned more in my lifetime, but I like what I like and if I buy something and they hurt my feet… they are walking out the door and either go back to the store, or I give them to someone else with big feet! My favorite shoes EVER are my Birkenstocks. Laugh all you want. I know they tend to be ugly. I am not about fashion when it comes to my feet… I am all about comfort!

And BTW, I hate socks. I don’t like sock lint and sweaty toes, so whatever I can do to avoid socks in any weather above 60 degress, I do so!
