Driving BMWs And Saving Boobs

Yesterday I had the opportunity to participate in the BMW Ultimate Drive – a special event partnered with the Suzan G Komen foundation for a cure for breast cancer.

BMW has a fleet of their vehicles that travel to locations throughout the U.S. for these special events (click here to see if there are any events coming soon to your area).

When you register you can drive any of these cars on a predefined 10-mile course. For every mile you drive BMW will donate $1 on your behalf to the Suzan G Komen foundation for a cure. This is my third time participating in this event, although my first here in Indianapolis.

The first car I drove was the V12 760Li (which has a sticker price of $124,000!!). There are so many buttons and controls in this thing that it was a little overwhelming at first. Not only did it have heated seats, you could also push a button to cool your seat and even a butt-massage! I’ll admit, I did feel a little violated at first getting a butt massage from a BMW, but after a couple minutes I got used to it.

I wrapped up my drive with a spin in a 6-speed manual Z4 convertible. This car was WAY too much fun to drive! Anyone wanna place bets on how long it would take me to lose my license if I owned this car?

So that was how I spent yesterday afternoon.

Driving around town in BMWs to save boobs. Not a bad day.

Do you know what the difference between you driving a bmw with the top down and anyone else doing the same? You make it look good. You look like you fit in that car! Much better then the Buick!

No, each car has different age limits. At the Ultimate Drive I went to most of the cars has a 21 age limit with only the 7 series being 25 and older.
