I would love to join you... all I need is a bike and that isn't happening any time soon. My greatest personal athletic achievement is running a 1/2 marathon, I've done it 4 times now. I would love to try a full sometime, but little time to train right now.

I lost 75lbs in a year by getting off my lazy butt and doing something. People ask all the time how I lost it all...like they are looking for some magic pill or answer. They always seemed disappointed when I tell them that I workout 5 days a week and eat right. However...I love how I feel again.

What an amazing feat!!

Seriously cool. I recently just began cycling and love it. I think it would be great to do that size of a trip.

Sweet bike by the way. Don't sell it.

wow! that's crazy and cool that you actually accomplished that with no prior training! Good luck in your quest to get back on the road again.

We all need to make more efforts to keep bodies in motion that's for sure.

Great bike man! I just started the road bike thing a few months ago and I'm absolutely hooked! I have a cheap bike and I'm saving for a good entry level one but I've been riding 20 miles a day. I'm 33 and wish I started this a long time ago but, better late than never. If I lived closer I'd come ride that century with you. I'm itching to do one of those!

Dude! Good for you. Get back on that two-wheeled beast!

My greatest physical accomplishment was training for a marathon. I ran, completed, and accomplished my two goals for the 2002 Long Beach Marathon but by far the training (16 weeks) was the hardest part.

I start at end of Sept. to train for the 2008 PHX RockN'Roll Marathon. Arrrgghhh!

I have done a few 5K's and I work with a trainer 2x a week. Having Asthma kind of throws a kink in some things - so I am really working on trying to build up my lung capacity. I would love to do a marathon someday...
