This was my route on this morning’s bike ride. It was a total of 31.7 miles that I biked in a little less than 2 hours. Right now I’m saving my longer rides for the weekend and working on strength training and pacing during the week.

WOW!!!!! That is quite a morning ride. Man, I wish I could make myself do that. I LOVE biking. It’s so peaceful. So much time to just enjoy being outside and think while getting in your exercise.

Awesome man, good time! I did a 33 mile and some change on Thurs and it was intense. A lot of ridge line riding, plenty of hills, wore me out! I do about 20 miles a day but the hills on this particular route were beating me up. I’ll post this adventure on my blog, there’s an entertaining encounter with a dog, HAHA!

Oh, you should’ve seen me biking with my son in Alaska this week — along the coast of the peninsula along Cook Inlet in Anchorage. It was beautiful! But unfortunately, I had to get off and walk several times, and I was far, far behind Chris! My legs felt like jelly! lol Loved every moment of it though. Part of the reason I was so slow was because I was stopping to take so many photos! The REAL story, though, concerns the 26+ hours it took for me to get a flight back to the “lower 48!”

Good job Brad! 31 miles is a long way to go for biking. I wish I can also do biking, but not now. Walking is always my exercise every morning.

Do you use a GPS to track your route and then load the data into your computer? That’s what my friend has been doing.
