Catalyst Countdown

Today we began our trip down to the Catalyst Conference bright and early. We were driving with our good friends BJ and Cherith. It was a long drive that required some good stretching when we stopped.

Thanks to everyone who travelled with us via Twitter. Reading everyone’s #catalyst08 updates made the trip so much fun! I even popped into CatalystBackstage every so often on my phone to read Anne’s updates on the Catalyst Labs.

We hit Atlanta around 5 which meant we were stuck in some pretty nasty traffic. The fact that it was raining cats and dogs didn’t help things much. Add to that the fact that I had held it for so long that I was about to face a bladder catastrophe. So it was with great relief and excitement that we finally checked into our hotel 4 miles from the Gwinnett.

We went to dinner with 14 other people and had an awesome time catching up and meeting new people.

I’m looking forward to an amazing day tomorrow begining with the Catalyst Red Carpet experience bright and early! If you see me be sure to come up and say hi!

Amazing day. Loved the labs. Looking forward to finally meeting. I may not even sleep tonight. I might need to take something to help tomorrow get here faster.

I love my family more than anything but I still struggle to keep my passions and priorities in order. I’m passionate about the Church, its influence on culture, and making it better. I’m constantly challenging the process - examining what I do, why I do it and its relevance in today’s progressive culture. read more
