Weekend Design Watch: I’m Good, I’m Gone
POSTED IN: Creativity, Music, Videos
I may have a different taste than most when it comes to music videos but I thought this new music video from Swedish indie pop artist Lykke Li (wiki) was pretty amazing. The costumes, choreography and stop-motion photography captured and held my attention right to the end.
As an added bonus, if you like this video it’s available as a free download for a limited time on iTunes.

What do you think? Crazy? Cool?

WOW…what a great video. Great visuals. Almost Salvador Dali-esque. This is one of those videos that I think borders on a dreamworld state of being. Great video. Hope it makes it to mainstream America.

I really like the tone of the song and the timbre of the instruments. It produces a really interesting color in the brain. It’s like a mix of soft warm colors intruded by these these blues and yellows. It’s interesting.
You can see a lot of her influences in her music. It’s really good because it’s not a complete copy either. She reminds me of Feist.

Boby builders were weird. But I thought the stop motion was interesting and made the pace of the editing very nice. It reminded me of the youtube guy who beatboxed by cutting video together.
