This Makes Me Happy

This came in the mail today. It’s the upgrade for the newly released Adobe Creative Suite 4. I’m a true geek when it comes to new software or application upgrades. I pretty much spend most of the day digging through it and assimilating all the new tools, options and features into my design-geek-consciousness.
I am Brad. You will be assimilated. Your graphical and technological distinctiveness will be added to my own. Resistance is futile.
I’ll even sometimes pull Lisa in the room to show her a new tool or feature but for some reason she just doesn’t get as excited about it as I do. I wonder why?
So what kind of stuff makes you rip open packages you got in the mail like a little kid opening presents on Christmas morning?

can I whine? just a little? I don’t want to be a Debbie Downer…but…I only have Adobe Illustrator 10. That’s it. Tears are beginning to fall. Ok, I’m over it.
Brad, if “someone” wanted to dive into photoshop with zero experience, where is the best place to start/learn?

Whenever the newest issue of “Motor Trend” comes in the mail, I’m all over it. I go to Cecily with the specs on the newest Audi or BMW, and she just never gets that charged up about it. I feel your pain, Brad.

well, I hate to admit I will excited when mine came in the mail yesterday too (CS4 that is)… although having switch from a pc to a mac in between the time of CS3 and CS4 I got to go through the glorious cross platform upgrade where you have to talk to them for 5 hours on the phone and swear on your house because they have to actually send you a full fledged copy for mac os at the upgrade price.
You would think now I need to turn over next of kin… so I was excited and surprised to see it in the mail yesterday, now my new macbook is complete
