Crazy Hair and Slippers
POSTED IN: Family, photos

Today is “Crazy Hair Day” and “Pajama Day” at the girl’s school. Chloe thinks it’s the coolest thing to not get dressed and go to school in her pajamas, especially since she gets to have crazy hair at the same time!
Yesterday was “Slipper Day.” I tried convincing Emily that her slippers looked better on me than they did on her but she didn’t share my opinion.

I remember all the fun days we did when I was in grade school – backwards day, pajama day, ride-your-ostrich-to-school-day. Good times.

i have bad memories of pajama day. i was a junior and wore these pajamas that were too long for me (hello, i am a short person) and during one of our breaks between classes, i was walking down the main stairs and totally bit it. fell down the stairs in front of half the school.
sometimes at night, i can still hear the laughing.

Chloe will so appreciate having her fun days captured later on — with great photography and professional graphic design, no less!
My school didn’t have fun days… it’s one of the reasons I wanted to go to a college with lots of traditions. And I did. =)

It’ll be great when they get to college and realize that they can wear whatever they want, pajamas included…you should see some of the people in my early morning classes! lol
