This is the song that has touched fives, maybe even tens of lives of people through Christian television. And now, finally, in a beautiful Christmas miracle, it’s online so you can watch as Henrietta and Merna sing this beautiful version of that Christmas classic “Go Tell It On The Mountain” right from your own computer.

It’s so beautiful, so riveting…I double-dare you to watch the whole video without turning it off. No, I triple-dog dare you!

This is something that I could have seen coming from my old church–maybe being performed during an offering or as a part of “A Very Baptist Chistmas Cantata.”

So glad that I was wished a Merry, Blessed, AND Happy Christmas.

Some pretty snazzy camera effects too…that zoom to the blue background for a fade to the older lady.

ok, i watched the whole thing. All I want to know is what that young girl thinks of that video NOW! And no I’m not just talking about their over sized hair and rolled up jacket sleeves. I agree with most everyone, she looked THRILLED!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!

p.s. I also loved that they had no idea that the song was fading at the end…. hahahaha

I think I can speak for us all when I say that we all lost a few brain cells by watching this, in no way was any of that singing, I think we are all a little dumber now for watching that…. I of course paraphrased that a little from Billy Madison…..

Oh how some folks do suffer! I’m talking about the ones who actually watched this whole thing! If you look at the older lady, she gives a little knowing “smirk”. She knows the kid is doing this cuz she is made to, and she’s loving it just a bit too much! I think this was done to punish the girl!

I love my family more than anything but I still struggle to keep my passions and priorities in order. I’m passionate about the Church, its influence on culture, and making it better. I’m constantly challenging the process - examining what I do, why I do it and its relevance in today’s progressive culture. read more
