I’ve been blessed with some very good friends that always manage to keep me smiling. One such friend, Tom Hinton, left this hilarious voicemail for me the other day.

    that was great!

I’ll never forget the time I was driving home and it was late. I was tired and wanted to call Karen. I hit send on the phone.. It rang and then it went into my friend John’s voice mail. It didnt click i called the wrong number. I went into leaveing my message and it went a little like this.. “hey honey.. its me.. I was just trying to get ahold of you.. i miss you a lot and….. holy crap i totally dialed the wrong number… Sorry John didnt mean to call you honey”

That was like 3 yrs ago.. and my friend still has it on his phone.. He said anytime he needs a laugh he will listen to that voicemail.

I use to have answering machine wars (before voicemail) with my friend back in college. My favorites:

    - I once left a message in gibberish and then left another message translating it.

    - I read the whole book of 1st John in a message.

And I thought my friends were a little strange.

I do have one that randomly calls and will not say hello or anything…he simply asks an irrelevant question and once you answer hangs up.

For example, this was the one I got the other day:
Mike Ditka coaching the Bears or Phil Jackson coaching the Bulls. Who’s bigger?

Got to love friends like that.

ok, guess I am going to be the one to ask the stupid question… how did you get the voice mail to podcast.

I use to use innoport which would turn all my voice mails into a .wav file and email it to me, but haven’t used them in a while either :)

VM was good too by the way.

I have never posted here, I am Tom’s oldest daughter Heidi. I am happy that most all thought that was funny. It is funny. Can I tell you my DAD still calls me to this day and does snuggles and wuzzles. Growing up he did it EVERY SINGLE DAY! And we would be sitting in church and at the beginning of EVERY sermon he would do snuggles and wuzzles. I thought one day they would die off, but I think that will never happen. :) But this is what makes my dad special…so here is to snuggles and wuzzles! :)
