“Mommy, look! It’s a talking Pope John Paul II Doll just like I always wanted! Can I get him? Please???”

That’s right, for those of you who always fancied yourself a fan of the Pontiff, you can now have your very own limited edition Pope John Paul II action figure complete with authentic papal staff, insignia, gold fringe and red shoes. Even better, this replica figure speaks 22 phrases.

Why waste your time going to confession when you can confess your sins to the Pope himself, give him a little squeeze and hear him say, “Your sins are forgiven.” It’s absolution made easy! Keep him in the glovebox of your car for when you’re stuck in traffic and flip someone off or need a quick confession on the run. Remember though, these dolls are limited edition so pick them up now while you can.

By the way, if you’re not the action figure type, you can always pick up the Pope John Paull II paper doll book instead. 4 paper dolls, 19 costumes, and in full array of church raiment from ordination robe to miter and crosier!

You’re welcome.

The same company (timecapsule toys, a for-profit secular company) also makes similar figures of Jesus, David Bowie and Ben Franklin.

I am sure that neither Jesus, nor the Vatican promote these figures.

The Pope doll kind of looks like John McCain. or Bob Barker. Maybe they’re the same person.

I went out and got one at once, how could I not? And then I bought a porcelain unicorn to be his heavenly friend, how could I not? The Polish Pope had a most worthy heart, unicorns do too. They stand together on my bureau and I am grateful for their blessings.

He doesn’t look like Pope John Paul II to me. The Pope’s face is very kind and his eyes is very soft. not frowning.
