Apple has done it again. They’ve released a product so revolutionary that it will completely change the way we think about portable computing. This amazing new laptop does away with the keyboard in a move that will send other computer manufacturers scrambling trying to catch up.

Introducing the MacBook Wheel…

I don’t know about you but when this comes out, I am so buying it.

I don’t believe many will like it or use it in the long run. It will reduce productivity to ‘wheel’ to letters on an on-screen keyboard. I know I would hate that for work as I type over 80 to 100 words a minute. That wheel would kill my productivity level.

I can see how home users would love it for music and photos, but not for writing documents and entering data.

If it’s anything like typing on an ipod, then it’ll go pretty slow. However, it IS pretty cool.
I love the line that says “the laptop is virtually unbreakable unless dropped or hit”…I guess it’s not so unbreakable then, huh? =P

Oh my, people… I seriously have some ocean view condos here in northern Indiana that I need to sell you!

On the other hand, this does fit with Apple’s general mindset of making everything easy enough for an idiot to use. Power and flexibility might get sacrificed, but it looks pretty and is simple! =)

LOL!!! Okay, yeah, I’m with sTim on this one. Actually, sTim, I’ll be your listing agent for those ocean-front properties in Indiana, we could make millions! Great post, Brad. And I would agree with Jason on this one, is this the right holdiay??? Couldn’t have waited a few more weeks, could you?
