Torture can permanently damage people. maybe its just a flesh wound, but that does not mean it will not haunt them for the rest of there life.And are you willing to live with yourselves if they are not guilty and you have permanently damaged them. Are you willing to take that bet. There are confessions of people who are not only tortured but are the ones torturing other. The ones that are tortured are not the only ones being hurt. Your making another human being throw away their humanity and hurt someone they may not even know.They have to watch and make another person scream out in pain. Do you think that would not damage them too. So when you think about torture remember that it is not only one person being damaged, but two! I think torture is NEVER ACCEPTABLE!
