Your Favorite Kids Movie

Your Favorite Kids Movie

I was excited to hear that they’re making another Toy Story. It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly 15 years since Toy Story released back in 1995! Since then, Pixar has went on to make other great animated movies like Cars, Ratatouille, Monsters Inc. and WALL·E.

Even after ten years since the first Toy Story, watching this teaser trailer makes it seem like only yesterday. To Infinity, and beyond!

What’s your favorite kids movie (that you secretly love as an adult)?

I’ve often said that Pixar is the only studio that has consistently put out excellent movies over the last 14-15 years.

As for those kids movies, I have two:

    The Goonies
    The Sandlot

Okay…the truth the Woodkirk family loves cartoons! Yes, I know they are all adults and over the age of 21 and yes we purchase every new cartoon DVD that is marketed. My favorite is Robots! It has a great message about accepting others and loving them where they are at, even if they aren’t all bright and shiny! Do you think we need a analyst?

I have to think The SandLot was one of my favorites of all time.

Heading into my teens it would have to be Ferris Buellers Day Off.

Also, Goonies….Stand By Me…maybe not exactly kids movies but films I totally loved when I was younger.

    Animation would be Shrek…loved it.

    Lilo and Stitch.

I LOVE that movie, as does one of my very bestest of friends. She has much ‘Stitch’ memorabilia (sp?!)

I also have the theme tune as my ringtone. Everyone always asks me what the tune is thinking it’s some kind of African gospel choir.

But no. It’s Lilo and Stitch.
