For those who want more late night goodness, here is a recent SNL skit that has the same premise.

http://www.hulu.com/watch/38477/saturday-night-live-update-thursday-fix-it

And for the spiritual types, both of these make fun of an old heresy called palagianism. Essentially, it says that we can fix ourselves through our will without need of the Divine.

Neo-palagianistic teaching is pretty prevalent in the church today.

But enough theology for today. Have a good laugh, get frustrated about not being able to fix yourself, and then enjoy an absolutely beautiful day!

I need to stop eating chocolate chip cookies all the time and start exercising instead of making excuses. I need to stop waiting til I'm at tired at the end of the day to try to read the Bible. I need to stop planning to do something and do it.

I watched this a few days ago. I think it's hilarious! If I was a counselor, this is exactly what I would say to the people who came in for counseling. Compassion? Pfft. Who needs it?
