I finally got a chance to listen to the newest Hillsong United album called “Tear Down The Walls.” Anyone who loves the upbeat, fist-pumping anthems of the Australian youth worship band won’t be disappointed. Powerful songs like Freedom Is Here and Yours Forever are perfect for blaring in your car to get you pumped on the way to work.

Freedom Is Here

However it was the more worshipful songs that really grabbed me, particularly the title track Tear Down The Walls. This track is over 10 minutes of worship that ebs and flows in intensity. The first time I listened to it I just sat back in my chair and let the music wash over me as I worshiped in God’s presence.

Tear Down The Walls

Like nearly every previous worship album Hillsong United has released, this one is worth picking up – whether for large group worship or at home.

Tear Down The Walls CD Giveaway!

You didn’t think I’d tell you about a great new album like this without giving you a chance to get your hands on it, would you? Of course not! I’ve got not one, not two but…wait for it…THREE copies of Tear Down The Walls to give away to one of you lucky readers! Go ahead, say it. You love me.

Here’s how to enter… Leave a comment below with the name of your favorite Hillsong or Hillsong United song. You can also try to convince me why I should give the CD to you if you like. It won’t do any good since I’ll be selecting the winners randomly but it will still be fun to read. :-) I’ll announce the winners over the weekend.

Our Winners…

The winners for the Hillsong United Tear Down The Walls album have been selected by Random.org and the winners are: Alece, Tracey Dowdy, and Cindy West. Congratulations!!

With all of the songs of Hillsong we have sang and played on the worship team, I still come back to “More than life” off of the For All You Have Done album; and “Hosanna” off of the Savior King album….very worshipful songs that I have been thick in the presence of the Lord God Almighty in while listening and worshipping him!!! But….there are so many songs that could be included as well……I pray God will use us in a way like them to make a huge impact for his glory…..

current favorite is ‘mighty to save’, but it depends on the day or the week. there really isn’t anything lame from Hillsong – just ones the worship leader kills by singing it too often.

Have you heard?? Only a few days till the I-HEART documentary hits cinemas Nov4! This is a one-off event you’ve got to see… http://www.theiheartfilm.com

The I-HEART documentary – Following worship band UNITED on their journey of discovery that WORSHIP and JUSTICE are inexplicably linked… “If what we (UNITED) are doing inside the church walls is having no effect on the streets we travelled to get there, then maybe we’re missing the point?”

We’re All In This Together is a documentary featuring the Hillsong UNITED Crew. It’s about many stories encountered along the way that all lead to the ONE story. It’s about justice, love and a hope found in God through His people.

With interviews and animation, it’s not the same as part1 – With Hearts As One… that was the music… The united voice.

This is the story – the united action – the heart behind The I Heart Revolution… Of which we’re all a part.
