Dad, Look At My Booger
POSTED IN: Blog Posts, Family, Randomness
That little face in the picture above may look cute and adorable but there’s mischief hiding behind those eyes.
My little Emily (who turned 6 over the summer) came up to me yesterday morning and said, “Hey Dad, look at this big booger that came out of my nose.” Sure enough, there on her finger was a big, nasty-looking booger.
I immediately proceeded to ball her out telling her to find a tissue and stop picking her nose. The next thing I knew she stuck her finger in her mouth and ate the flipping booger! I just about threw up right then and there.
Then she smiled and said, “Dad, I was just joking. That was a smooshed blueberry from my oatmeal. I love playing tricks on you.”
Right then and there I knew I was looking at a little 6-year-old version of me.
I am in so much trouble.

LOL! That’s great. And with the way you reacted, it’s sure to encourage her to do more and more of the same!
I miss those girls!

Who can honestly say that they have never eaten a booger? Now, a blueberry booger, that is special, and much tastier than your everyday, run of the mill, booger.

I dunno whether to be impressed or jealous. Probably both.
