What Do You Hope Heaven Is Like?
POSTED IN: Blog Posts
While the Bible mentions Heaven over 500 times there is still much left to the imagination. Let’s forget about what the Bible already says about heaven and set aside our theological discussions for another day.

The only thing I really think about with Heaven are these three things:
1. Getting to meet Jesus & God face to face.
2. Getting to see family (Not even sure how that will matter or if it will matter in Heaven, regardless it is an Earthly longing to see family who have died.)
3. Peace/Rest – Not having to deal with the struggles of this world.
Beyond that, I’ve never really thought much more of “Heaven” and what I expect or hope for.

Pad Thai for dinner every night, French-pressed coffee, strawberry Pop-Tarts and lots of dark chocolate. Oh, and seeing Jesus.
I hope it is the highest realization of all the passions we can only realize in part here on Earth (eg: being able to fully develop our creativity) in worship of God.

The weather would be nice, it’d be paradise… and summertime all year and all the folks we know… well, they’d say hi.

This is so the opposite of the point of heaven, but I’ve always hoped heaven would have an awesome archives room where we could go watch history. Like sit in on the JFK assassination and see who really did it. Watch the moon landing. Find out what the heck Stonehenge is really about. See St. Francis in action. Watch Jesus’ birth. See Jonah in the belly of the whale. I’m talking full HD action.
Of course something tells me none of that will matter when we’re standing before God.

One thing that I have always wanted since I was little was a White Tiger!!! Ever since i was told that everything is nice in heaven, I prayed for the longest time to have a white tiger for a pet in my big mansion!
I want to see every famous person that I was so curious about being saved or not. And lots and lots of FOOD!!!! thats important

I agree with Kevin. I have always wanted to see the past, get answers, etc…
Also, there will always be snow and plenty of good surf.
And of course there will be In N’ Out.

Heaven – Not one child will be hungry.
Not one child will be be held a slave for trafficking. Not one child will be abandoned. Lots of great music and golf courses too.
