POSTED IN: Blog Posts, Blogging

Over the last 18 months this little blogging community has grown as we’ve carved out our own little piece of the blogosphere. I remember throwing a blog-party for my 100th subscriber and 500th comment last summer. Here we are 800 subscribers, 1,400 Twitter followers and 7,000 comments later and still going strong.

I’ve gotten to know some pretty awesome people and taken part in some amazing opportunities because of this community. We’ve discussed some pretty deep topics, spotlighted some great social justice issues and had a little fun along the way.

This Is Where You Come In

Occasionally opportunities arise to help grow this community. Recently this blog was nominated as one of the Top 50 Blogs in Indiana (and yes, Indiana does have some pretty amazing bloggers in case you were wondering). This year the top blogs are chosen by how many votes they receive. If you enjoy reading this blog, would you consider voting for it?

After you’ve voted, I’d love to know why you’re a reader! What makes you keep coming back for more?

Hey Brad. You make me smile. And your design work is flat out wonderous. I can identify with your struggle to balance priorities with work and family, and I share your fascination with and passion for the Church and its influence on culture. Basically, your blog reminds me of me – only it looks super cool. :-) (insert self-depricating grin and wink here…)

God bless you – keep it up!

I found your blog, and really enjoy reading – I like the great balance you have found between fun/weird/entertaining topics and deep/important/controversial issues. My favourite post of yours was “What Church Isn’t”. You were really speaking my language there, and I have shared that with many others. Thanks!

  • About Brad

I love my family more than anything but I still struggle to keep my passions and priorities in order. I’m passionate about the Church, its influence on culture, and making it better. I’m constantly challenging the process - examining what I do, why I do it and its relevance in today’s progressive culture. read more
