I share a common interest in Africa. I have always said if I ever get the opportunity to go to Africa I probably would not come back. I too sponsor a young man in Kenya named Makau Wambua. One day I hope to meet him. I will be following your blogs and pray for you daily.

I went to Thika (just outside of Nairobi) with a organization called Five Talents. Our team went to teach classes to locals in support of the microfinance work that they do over there. Cool stuff! I’m actually still blogging about that trip…

This is so awesome, Brad! The Woodkirk’s are so excited for you…mainly cause you’re you, but also because we have such a heart for Kenya. My grandparents were missionaries there, and our Compassion “brother,”Frederick,” lives there. Let us know if there is anything that we can do to support your trip other than prayer!

@Brad- there are tons of amazing things to see and do in Kenya (safari, coast, etc) but what really makes this place amazing is the people. That’s why I love it here. Amazing amazing people.
