Once, I was talking to students about tissue donation. I was supposed to say "bone donor"....but switched up the first letters of those two words...in front of a group of high schoolers! Whoops. Let's just say I changed my phrasing of that term after that. Also, I was dividing some elementary students to play a game and said, "ok, since this half is all boys..." to which a little girl with VERY short hair said "HEY! *I'm* a GIRL!" Oops. It was funny. Even though I didn't know it was a birth mark after she wiped it I thought "hum, it didn't come off. I think she just made a mistake..." And I agree, the Bush clip came off as Harsh.
