Come To Kenya With Me Next Week!

POSTED IN: Blog Posts, Kenya Trip

Ok, so maybe that title is a little misleading. As much as I would love to, I just can’t pack you in my suitcase and bring you with me to Kenya.

However…you can come with me by following my blog while I’m there. I know, it’s not quite the same as actually being there but I’ll do my best to write and capture images that will make you feel like you’re there.

In order for this trip to be a success for the children we’ll be visiting, I need your help. In fact, I can’t do this without you.

I’m going to do something that I never do on this blog…I am begging you, I am pleading with you to help spread the word. I’ll even pay you if necessary.

Why such strong language? Because these children deserve it!

I’m not going to Kenya by myself. I want you to go there with me so that we can break the cycle of poverty together! We’ll cry together over the pain and poverty we see and we’ll celebrate together as children find sponsors and the chains of poverty are broken!

Will you help  me spread the word? I’ve made some images that link to my blog where people can follow our trip next week and learn more about Compassion’s work in Kenya. Simply copy and paste the code to embed the images on your blog. If you need different sizes from what I have below just let me know.

If you link your site to mine please let me know in the comments below so I can thank you personally.

Hey Brad, I was in Kenya last summer (http://bit.ly/cy5AUD) and am leading a team back there this summer (http://bit.ly/bR85G3). It’s a wonderful place with such a heart-wrenching combination of amazing beauty and intense suffering.

I’ll be praying for you and look forward to reading about your trip.

I have felt called to Africa from the time I was young. I’ve had visions and dreams and stirrings; that place takes up space in my heart. We were even planning on naming Ty “Kenya” if he was a girl :) .

All that to say, if I can’t go in person, I’m thrilled that I can go in prayer. I added your button to the top of my blog.
