Over the weekend I was up in Michigan visiting with family over Easter weekend. One afternoon a Spring storm blew over leaving some beautiful clouds behind. I grabbed my camera and ran out to grab these pics of the field and farm behind my In-Law’s house (click the photos to view them full-size in your browser).

Nothing like a good thunderstorm in the Spring. I captured these images in RAW on my D90 and used Photomatix to create a HDR (High Dynamic Range) image using the techniques described here.

Nice! I just drove through a storm here in MO, and saw a perfect rainbow. It was a complete arch and really bright. Wish I had my camera, and was not driving at the time!

I’m constantly challenging the process - examining what I do, why I do it and its relevance in today’s progressive culture. read more
